TK1- ground resistence reducer soil

  • This soil has an excellent electrical conductivity, which is produced with a standard formulation to be used in all areas and marketed with a durable two-layer package weighing 15 kg.

Formulation:

1)Micronized Bentonite: Bentonite is a mineral soil that itself and in the form of clod that has higher moisture absorbency than other minerals and after being ground, this capability increases. Micronized bentonite used in TK-1 soil, is produced and fully micronized according to OCMA standard of the USA which its water absorbency is at least 70% more than the best examples existing in the market.

2)Granular Salt: Salt as a factor affecting the electrolyte in the ground well, cause to flow the electric current more easily. Due to being crystalline, salt granules are dissolved in a longer period of the time; consequently, the possibility of escaping this main material from the soil composition, are greatly reduced.

3)Industrial powdered coal: Coal, among the compounds of ground well, in addition to absorbing and retaining moisture, after combining with salt, behaves as a salt-retaining substance in soil mixture and will increase the useful life of the grounding system. In TK-1 soil, coal is used in the form of powder and considering unified mixture, its same frequency in all the soil volume combines with granular salt in the best possible way and while maintaining moisture, stably forms electrolyte. Meanwhile, other task of the coal is to relatively prevent the copper electrode corroding.

4)Metals powder: Powdered metal is an important factor in the electric conductivity and ground resistance reducing that unlike most resistance reducer soils is one of the essential components in the TK-1 soil.

5)Corrosion inhibitors: This matter is formulated in laboratories of Akan company that reduces corrosion of copper electrode by salts existing in the ground.

6)Electrolyte:This solution is very desirable to increase the electrical conductivity of the soil.

7)TNS: It is an additive that has been formulated in the laboratory of Akan company and used in TK-1 soil’s composition as an important factor to prevent the cracking of bentonite caused by the lack of moisture.

8) Other environment compatible mineral and chemical additives.

Appropriate reducing materials, means 85% performance improvement in the ground well
TK-1 with a PH number of seven to eight and an electrical resistivity of less than 0.5 ohm per meter
TK-1 ground resistance reducer soil application guide
1) A well with a diameter of approximately 30 cm greater than the width of ground plate and depth of at least seven meters should be dug.
2) Depth of the well should be possibly to the extent that the well has been penetrated about one meter in naturally moistened soil.
3) Grounding wire is connected at least to two points, so that, to be able to keep the plate suspended in the well.
4) Ground plate is vertically hung with a distance of 20 cm from the bottom of the well, so that the wire is placed in the well center.
5) Using a mortar-like ground resistance reducer soil containing about 80% water, the well is filled to a height of 20 cm above the ground plate.
6) PVC pipe is placed in the well center to water recharge.
7) The rest of the well’s space is filled with clay and water.
8) The well is closed after three days.
9) If required, the valve must be installed to visit from the well and the grounding wire is connected to the bus.
